The impressive University of Suffolk Student Waterfront Building uses approximately 3,000m² of Marley Eternit EQUITONE Natura fibre cement panels in Ivory and Titanium. A secret fix mechanical fixing was used to ensure that visible fixings did not interrupt the buildings clean lines. Sitting on the edge of Ipswich Waterfront the building provides a dedicated teaching and social space for students alongside an exhibition space - The Waterfront Gallery. The building is instantly recognisable as part of the Ipswich skyline, completing the regeneration of the Waterfront area.
