Liam Pickup – Group Transport/Health & Safety Manager, Vivalda Group

Liam started his career with Vivalda in 2016 when he joined the Hull branch as factory manager. With responsibility for the day to day running of the busy facility, he soon expanded his remit to include wider aspects of manufacturing such as safety and pioneering a recycling scheme at the premises.

“As I had previous experience on both logistics and warehouse management, it was natural for me to build on my role to include transportation and other elements of Health & Safety. It’s demanding and very broad based – but I really enjoy the variety and of the challenge!”

Mark Blenkinsop

Mark Blenkinsop – Warehouse Manager, Vivalda London

With a degree in mechanical engineering and previous experience within the sanitaryware manufacturing sector, Mark brings a unique set of skills to his role at Vivalda’s London branch in Acton.

Joining the business as warehouse manager in 2015, Mark has grown into a wider role which now includes production and facilities management. “My job is all about ensuring the fabrication and transportation sides of the business are running smoothly. I’ve always loved the more practical side of things, so ensuring machinery is fully operational and planning ahead for maintenance is very rewarding. I also really like being part of a bigger team and making a tangible contribution to the success of the branch and the wider company. This is a people business and we get on well as a team.”

Natlie MillnsNatalie Millns – Assistant Branch Manager, Vivalda Birmingham

Natalie started as an Internal Sales Executive in the Birmingham branch in 2016. Having previously worked within the sales department of a global heating brand, she learned the ropes quickly settled in well as part of the team.

She really values Vivalda’s flexible approach to working hours – which has allowed her to fit her demanding career around her responsibilities as a mum to two girls.  Natalie said: “What I really love about my job is the interaction with customers and working as part of a team. Every day is so different and is very much dictated by what projects are live at the moment. Yesterday I was helping a contractor to specify facades for a major office refurb, while today I’ve been helping an installer solve an issue with a fixing on a domestic job.”
