VIVALDA Services:

Technical – All panel sizes were optimised to minimise wastage and maximise yield before and programmed using CNC software for the grooved design.

Fabrication – Vivalda cut the boards to size using a beam saw before adding face grooves using a CNC into the panels to give a timber plank appearance.

Delivery – All material was stocked at Vivalda and fabricated in phases to coincide with the site’s delivery schedule.

Artesian House is the ‘flagship’ development for the ‘Bermondsey Spa’ Regeneration Development promoted by Southwark Council. The building boasts 73 mixed tenure flats above doctor’s surgery, in a curved design. Vivalda supplied Hamilton First with approximately 1200m2 of Rockpanel Woods in Ebony Agate to replace the existing timber cladding that is wrapped around the top of the building. The Rockpanel Woods was fabricated inhouse with face grooves cut out to mimic the timber clad effect of the previous cladding.

The Rockpanel supplied achieves an A2 rating and was rivet fixed onto aluminium rails. Artesian House completed in mid-2021.
