Autoclaved light-weight calcium silicate building board manufactured from a homogeneous mixture of cement, organic cellulose fibres and selected mineral binder; it’s vermin resistant and does not rot.
Applications:
The inherent alkalinity of the board makes it anti-bacterial and therefore suitable for use conditions where hygiene is of concern, such as hospitals or food-preparation areas.
Suitable for ceilings, cavity barriers and below floors to maintain fire compartmentalisation.
This system is approved for 2 hour fire resistance according to BS 476: Part 22: 1987, height up to 3.5m. Height exceeding 3.5m please refer to Kemwell Thermal Ltd.
Supalux
Promat Supalux is a strong, lightweight non-combustible building board for use in many fire resisting and general purpose building applications, providing 240 minutes fire protection in a through wall application. It is simple to work and fix, easy to decorate, resistant to effects of moisture and will not rot or decay.
Promat Supalux has good impact resistance making it suitable for most industrial applications.
Supalux board is off-white in colour and has a smooth finish on one face with a sanded reverse face. It can be left undercoated or is easily finished with paints, wall paper or tiles.
Promat Supalux boards retain their excellent dimensional stability even in damp and humid conditions and can be installed at an early stage in the construction programme, before wet trades are completed and the building is weather-tight.
Promat Supalux is resistant to mould growth, most chemicals and attack by rodents and insects.
Promat Supalux Board Main Applications include Internal partitions, Timber floors, Ceiling linings, External walls, Dormer cheeks, Soffit and fascias, Internal wall, Door upgrades, Structural steed, Non-combustible lining, Wind posts and Load bearing walls.
Masterboard
Promat Masterboard is a versatile class 0 building board that provides up to 60 minutes fire protection
Promat Masterboard is suitable for use on a wide range of internal and semi-exposed applications.This fire protection board is of limited combustibility and can be used in constructions providing up to 60 minutes fire protection. Masterboard is simple to work and fix, easy to decorate, resistant to the effects of moisture and will not rot or decay.
Promat Masterboard is a calcium silicate board reinforced with selected fibres and fillers. It is formulated without inorganic fibres and does not contain formaldehyde.
The colour is off-white and Masterboard has a smooth finish on one face with a sanded reverse face. Promat Masterboard can be left undecorated or can be easily decorated with paints, wallpapers or tiles.
Main applications include soffits, partition wall and roof linings, ducts and pipe covers, airing cupboard linings, integral garage ceilings and fire doors. Unlike Supalux, Promat Masterboard can be used externally in semi-exposed applications.
