Prodema Lignum

Prodema Lignum is a highly durable, resistant material. It is ideally suited to exterior cladding. The high density core panel is composed of a chemically resistant, thermoset, resin-bonded cellulose fibre. It is finished with natural wood, coated with our in-house formulated acrylic resin finish. Hardy and element proof, these cladding panels are completely watertight. High resistance Impact. Can resist without deformation a kinetic energy as high as 0.9 kNm, thus suited to fa�ade cladding all the way to ground level.

Appearance and Protection

Chemical-The protective acrylic finish is specifically designed to resist attacks by chemicals (such as spray paint) and protects against discolouration and erosion from Sulphur Dioxide (SO2).

Age - The Prodema Lignum panels show excellent colour and gloss appearance after 10 years of external exposure.

Fixing and Maintenance

Lignum cladding can be visibly fixed to a wooden or aluminium subframe or riveted to an aluminium subframe. Concealed fitting with hangers and gluing are also possible.

Lignum may be cut using wood cutting tools with a hard metal (TCT) cutting edge. No further finishing or protective treatment of the surface is needed after the machining process.

Behind the facade cladding panels there must be a continuous airspace at least 20mm wide. This eliminates the incidence of any persistent moisture and ensures good ventilation.

Cleaning the panels may be done with soft cleaning agents. Abrasive and highly acidic or alkaline products are not recommended.
