Rockclad Cladding Systems

Rockclad cladding systems are a versatile, low maintenance flat sheet building boards. It can be used in a wide variety of applications from industrial use to domestic soffit/fascia applications. The raw material is volcanic diabase rock, a natural sustainable resource. It is melted at 1500C and then spun, producing a wool-like mat. As it's made from 90% stone, the building boards can be removed and disposed of safely and are safer in the event of a fire. The products may be fixed to timber battens, aluminium or galvanised steel support rails. Rockclad cladding systems may be cut on site with a profile saw. Specifiers can select from almost any RAL colour, dependant on volume. The board has a class O rated surface with excellent UV resistance.

Rockpanel is dimensionally stable, and can be fixed with stainless steel nails or screws, without the need for pre-drilling. Manufactured from highly compressed stonewool, the board is vapour permeable. In addition Rockpanel is inherently water repellent, and will not buckle or distort due to moisture. The building board is not affected by the freeze/thaw cycle. An added benefit is good impact resistance and curvability.
