Trespa Virtuon Cladding Panels

Virtuon from Trespa is a more durable and hygienic panel for fitting an interior environment. This range of panelling is suitable for tough interior applications. Virtuon is a composite incorporating electron beam curing technology - offering long-term aesthetics and greater hygiene. The result of this process is that the molecules are bound tightly to the surface. It is made up of thermosetting resins, homogeneously reinforced with cellulose fibres and manufactured under high temperatures and high pressure. The surface and core of Virtuon create a monolithic homogenous panel without pores, which means high impact resistance and high resistance to cleaning. Virtuon answers to a demand for an interior that requires less maintenance and offers a hygienic surface that is easy to clean.

Suitable for spa's, swimming pools, tube stations, hospitals, leisure parks, offices, schools, airports and other potentially hostile environments. It will retain its colour and surface sheen - even where there are changing climatic conditions and very high humidity levels.

Virtuon has been used for interior wall composites, applications such as cubicles and lockers, and even bumper rails in hospitals. The clading panel combines a tactile and functional but good looking finish for any interior use.

Hygiene is aided by a smooth surface; dirt and stains cannot adhere or attach to the surface. The surface is easy to clean or disinfect and the sealed surface is retained even after repeated heavy cleaning in clinical conditions. Virtuon deters bacteria and algae, fungus or mould growth. The smooth surface repels water and stains. For public places, Virtuon is resistant to cleaning agents used to remove graffiti and paint.

Choose from uni colours, textured and metallic surfaces, which can be blended with other materials such as glass, wood or tiles. Can be installed by fixing visibly, semi-blind or blind. No solvents or heavy metals are used in the manufacture and recycling wherever possible.
