E-Board

E-Board is a multi-purpose fibre cement board. It is a highly durable, non combustible board for use in applications requiring a combination of sound insulation, moisture resistance and good performance against fire. The board will not rot and can be used as an alternative to chipboard, plywood or wood chip cement particle board, when greater dimension stability is required. This board is ideal for residential, commercial and industrial use.

Properties

E-Board provides an excellent resistance to impact damage and provides good sound installation. It has a non-combustible fire rating and is not affected by moisture and weather penetration. It is a compatible core board for tiles, laminate veneers, steel and aluminium. Can be used for structural panels for timber, steel frame and modular build.

E-Board high performance structural board conforms and exceeds the BS EN standards which are applicable Properties to this product i.e BS EN 633 1994- BS EN 634-1 and BS EN 634-1 1997. In addition, E-Board complies with many internationally respected and accredited standards both for internal and external use.

E-Board is manufactured using ordinary Portland cement, finely ground silica, treated cellulose fibres, select mineral fillers and water.
